Pinterest, which has 400 million users worldwide, recently released a Global Fashion Trends Report 2022. The report notes that Generation Z is driving a new trend in accessories. These accessories go far beyond basic earrings, necklaces, etc. The platform found that searches for ear adornments (such as studs) increased by 300% in the selected time period.
On the fashion front, pearl jewelry is catching the attention of consumers. On Pinterest, searches for pearl necklaces increased by 700%; pearl dresses increased by 300%.
