Square launched Cash App Pay to challenge Paypal
Recently, the American payment platform Square announced the launch of Cash App Pay, which allows consumers to use the Cash App account to pay through a QR code or a button on a mobile device during checkout. Sellers can also use the tool to manage receipts, reconciliations, and settlements in the Square app.
Before this, PayPal also introduced a similar function. Not long ago, Paypal also expanded its QR code payment service range and signed agreements with many new partners.
Adobe is adding payment services to its e-commerce platform
Adobe is launching a new payment service for its commerce platform. By adding payment services to Adobe Commerce, merchants of all sizes can access integrated payment solutions. Adobe Commerce’s payment services will be supported by the PayPal Commerce Platform, and Adobe merchants in the United States will be able to use them by the end of this year. Adobe also plans to support other regions including Canada, Australia, and Western Europe next year.

According to the latest data from the container transportation platform Seaexplorer, as ports in all continents are facing operational interruptions, as of September 13, more than 349 large-scale carriers have berthed outside the port.
In the first half of this year, the container throughput of major ports in the United States, Northern Europe, and Asia increased by 10% to 70% year-on-year. In Asia, the throughput of the Port in Singapore rose by 27%, followed by Yantian with 24%, and Shanghai and Ningbo by 23%.
However, the Port of Long Beach in Southern California had the largest increase among the ports surveyed. At present, 22 container ships are waiting for a berth at the anchorage in Southern California; 16 ships are waiting outside the port. The average waiting time for berth has increased from 8.1 days a week ago to 8.5 days. The time can be up to 16 days.
Walmart will implement GoLocal delivery service at the end of the year
A few days ago, American retailer Walmart announced that it would launch a delivery service called “GoLocal” to help other local retailers deliver goods directly to consumers. The service is expected to be put into operation by the end of this year, and the delivery method will be self-driving cars and drones.
